Great location, right next to a peaceful hill behind the castle on a quiet street. the room was a good size and had a private bathroom. 🏞️

The location was very central, very close to Kumamoto castle and Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art Chibajo Branch and Next door to the palace and public transport. We had a great-sized room with the castle view.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, it was comfortable and stunningly beautiful and had MARVELLOUS location right by castle and the main attraction of the city.

We asked the receptionist for help finding the balcony entrance to take a picture of Kumamoto Castle, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He directed us to the entrance, waited for us to grab our camera, and even took a picture of us. The staff at Kkr Hotel Kumamoto is amazing and made our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The view of the castle from my room at Kkr Hotel was absolutely spectacular. The spacious rooms and comfortable bed made for a great stay. Being just a short walk away from the castle and the Shimotori mall was so convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.
